Benshaw Incorporated began operations in 1983 to serve the expanding market of Solid State Motor Control. They began as a small operation that has expanded to a large, modern facility in Pittsburgh, PA – as well as facilities in Arizona, Michigan and Canada.
Solid State Motor Controls remain their prime focus–creating the most reliable and innovative controls in the industry.
The Benshaw product line includes controls that go from fractional HP to 60,000HP:

• Low voltage line soft starts from 208–600V up to 2500HP
• Medium voltage starters from 2300–15,000V up to 20,000HP

**Within these voltage and horsepower ratings Benshaw offers compressor and pump duty starters, wound rotor & synchronous motor starters, two speed motor starters, reversing and DC injection brakes.
